West De Pere 42, Shawano 0

A pair of early Shawano turnovers swung the momentum in favor of West De Pere, and the visitors never looked back on their way to a Bay Conference win over Shawano on Friday.

Receiver Elliott Lowney had a big game to lead the Hawks on offense. He totaled over 100 yards on three catches in just the first half.

Shawano threw a pair of interceptions inside the red zone, wiping out its scoring opportunities.

Menominee Indian 27, Living Word Lutheran 12

Tiger Dixon threw three touchdowns to help Menominee Indian knock off Living Word Lutheran in nonconference play on Saturday in Keshena. It was the Eagles first game back in 11-man football.

Andre Corn hauled in two of the touchdown passes, while Allen Smith caught the other.

After a 37-yard rushing touchdown from Menominee Indian’s Pasen Waupoose, LWL decided to call the game with 8 minutes, 53 seconds left in the fourth quarter after suffering several injuries.

Bonduel 13, Coleman 8

Bonduel earned a thrilling nonconference home win over Coleman to open the season.

After Coleman took a 8-7 lead with under four minutes to play, Bonduel answered. After a long passing play, Max Sokolski scored from a yard out for the game-winning score.

Sokolski also scored on a 10-yard run in the second quarter and finished with 61 rushing yards. Logan Majewski finished with 98 rushing yards to lead the Bears.

Cole Letter passed for 66 yards, with Isaac Banker hauling in four receptions for 41 yards. Dylan Springborn intercepted a pass, one of four Bonduel takeaways on the night.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 34, Northland Pines 0

Wittenberg-Birnamwood cruised to a lopsided nonconference win over Northland Pines on Friday in Wittenberg.

Austin Gibson rushed for 191 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Chargers on the offensive end. Larken Betry and Allen Uttecht also rushed for scores, while Logan Balliett passed for 83 yards and tossed a touchdown to Simon Stewart.

Witt-Birn held Northland Pines to just 132 yards of offense, collecting four sacks and six tackles for loss along the way. Jack Fraaza finished with six solo and two assisted tackles, while Gibson had five solo and one assisted tackle to go along with a sack.

Marion/Tigerton 32, Elcho/White Lake 18

The Marion Tigerton co-op cruised to a victory over Elcho/White Lake in its 8-man football debut on Friday in Marion.

Marion/Tigerton’s Ethan Scheef completed three passes, with each going for a touchdown. Austin Hoffmann, Alex Zimmerman and Mitchell Zimdars caught the touchdowns. Hoffmann also ran for a touchdown.

Marion/Tigerton also forced three safeties. Elcho/White Lake scored its three touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

Wrightstown 68, Clintonville 7

Wrightstown outgained Clintonville 415-79 to claim the North Eastern Conference clash in Wrightstown.

Payton Griepentrog scored the Truckers’ touchdown, hauling in a 54-yard pass from Jared Cartwright in the second quarter.

Wrightstown led 47-7 at halftime and finished with 349 rushing yards to Clintonville’s 19.
