More than 50 people came out to an empty lot on Corporate Way in Pulaski on Oct. 20 to celebrate groundbreaking on a new home for Hammerbeck Dental in Pulaski.

When the new building opens next June, the business, now located at 759 S. St. Augustine St., will also sport a new name: Pulaski Dental.

Dr. Adam Hammerbeck said the new building will feature a surgical suite so patients don’t have to travel to larger communities, and new technology including a dental 3-D printer. The reception area is to include a fireplace and coffee bar for patient comfort, he added.

Ian Wilson of Nolan Carter Architectural Design told the group “it’s truly an honor” for the firm to have been selected for this project.

“There’s 1,000 different pieces to the puzzle and those are commitments that were made along the way,” Wilson said. “The facility as you can see here will be state of the art with room for expansion, surgical suite inside the clinic. It’s going to be a beneficial place to practice.”

Hammerbeck said the new location, which will be visible along state Highway 32, will be easier for out-of-town patients to find.

“Highway 32 is a main artery out of the Northwoods; this will improve our visibility,” he said. “We have a lot of patients from place like Gillett, Mountain, Suring and Oconto Falls.”

IEI is serving as general contractor for the project, which is also supported by the Robert E. Lee and Associates engineering firm.
