Girls Golf: Sadowski, Lemorande lead Oconto Falls at NEC meets

Oconto Falls competed in North Eastern Conference meets on Thursday and Friday. The Panthers took third place both days.

Oconto Falls earned a team score of 223 at Friday’s meet at River Island Golf Course in Oconto Falls. Little Chute (209) edged Luxemburg-Casco (210) for first place.

Kaylee Sadowski turned in the Panthers top score, carding a 52 in a nine-hole round. Danielle Darby fired a 54, while Kearra Champeau shot a 56.

Morgan Blazek and Grace Lemorande each shot 61s to round out Oconto Falls’ five-golfer team.

Oconto Falls posted a team score of 232 at Thursday’s NEC match at Hilly Haven Golf Course in De Pere. Denmark (193) finished first, while Wrightstown (210) was second.

Lemorande paced the Panthers with a round of 53, with Sadowski right behind with a 54.

Darby shot a 61, Champeau a 64 and Carli Fischer a 75 to complete the team.
