Donations needed to feed trail-clearing volunteers

Blocked snowmobile trails are their target

Over 125 volunteers from Team Rubicon USA are coming to assist local snowmobile clubs with clearing storm-damaged trails in Forest, Langlade, and Oconto counties from Sept. 28 through Oct. 6. Trail cleanup efforts are being coordinated by the National Forest Service and county forestry departments.

Donations, both monetary and food, are being sought to help feed this crew of volunteers for the 10 days they are here clearing the trails damaged in the July 19 storm. Volunteers are also needed to help serve the morning and evening meals to the volunteers. the effort is being coordinated by Chute Pond Snowmobile Club President Deb Uhlenbrauck.

Donations of time, money or food products can either be coordinated with Uhlenbrauck at 920-373-8578 or dropped off at Kelly’s Mountain Top, 14031 State Highway 32, Mountain.
