Dairyland League playoff matchups set
The Dairyland League determined playoff matchups during a league meeting Thursday.
The Hortonville Stars won the league’s regular season title with a 7-2 record and will host the Hofa Park Panthers (3-6) on Sunday.
The Navarino Rangers (6-3) are the No. 2 seed, and will take on the seventh-seeded Shawano Lobos (5-4).
The Waupaca Lakemen (6-3) will serve as the No. 3 seed. Waupaca will host the sixth-seeded Bonduel Broncos (5-4).
The final playoff matchup will pit the fourth-seeded Pulaski Reds (6-3) against the fifth-seeded Nichols Nitros (6-3). The game will be in Pulaski.
All games are scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. first pitch.
The Freedom Mets (1-8) and Cecil Mudhens (0-9) were the league’s two teams that missed the postseason.
