Cross-Country: No Panthers qualify for state

Canavera, Adams lead Oconto Falls on course

TOMAHAWK — No Oconto Falls High School cross-country runners qualified for state while competing at the Division 2 Tomahawk Sectional at Edgewater Country Club on Saturday.

Autumn Canavera was the top girls runner for the Panthers, while Joe Adams paced the boys team. The Oconto Falls girls took eighth with a team score of 220, while the boys tallied a 315 to take 13th.

Canavera finished the course in 21 minutes, 13.1 seconds to take 23rd place. Adams finished 33rd after posting a time of 17:46.2.

Carleigh Kaczmarek (21:29.8) wasn't far behind Canavera, placing 29th. Autumn Magnin (22:38.5), Alexis Euclide (23:19.9) and Morgan Van Haren (23:46.2) rounded out the girls team.

Brendan Konitzer (18:17.2), Braden Uelmen (18:59.9), Isaac Raddatz (19:15.1) and Tyler Budz (21:49) capped the boys team score.
