• John G. Shawano, 42, Keshena, was charged March 20 with one count of possession of narcotic drugs, one count of possession of amphetamine/LSD/psilocin (second or subsequent offense) and one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer. Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court Judge William Kussel Jr. set a cash bond of $1,000 and scheduled a bail hearing for March 29. He also scheduled a final pre-trial conference for May 5.

• Kent R. Hessing, 47, Stevens Point, pleaded no contest March 20 to four counts of bail jumping, one misdemeanor count of battery and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Two counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record. Kussel sentenced Hessing to three years of probation.

• Kyle J. Pecore, 39, Shawano, pleaded no contest March 20 to six counts of possession of amphetamine/methamphetamine with intent to deliver (greater than 3-10 grams), one count of operating a vehicle to flee/elude an officer and five counts of bail jumping. Six counts of possession of narcotics with intent and seven counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record. Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court Judge Katherine Sloma sentenced Pecore to five years in prison and five years of extended supervision.

• Michael L. Szafranek, 42, Shawano, was charged March 21 with one count of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of issue of worthless checks (less than or equal to $2,500). Kussel set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a status conference for May 2.

• Tatum J. Lyons, 21, Keshena, was charged March 22 with one count of possession of narcotic drugs, one count of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Kussel set a cash bond of $500 and a signature bond of $1,500. He also scheduled a status conference for June 6.

• Sean D. Locke, 46, Aniwa, pleaded no contest March 22 to one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. One count of substantial battery and one misdemeanor count of battery were dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. Kussel fined Locke $200.

• Louis E. Ellwart, 51, Gresham, pleaded no contest March 22 to one count of battery or threat to a judge, prosecutor or law enforcement officer, two counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. One count of bail jumping and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct were dismissed but read into the record. Kussel sentenced Ellwart to one year in jail.

• Jordan K-S Brinker, 30, Shawano, pleaded guilty March 24 to one count of causing a child (aged 13-18) to view a sexual activity and one misdemeanor count of lewd and lascivious behavior in public. One count of exposing genitals/pubic area/intimate parts to a child and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct were dismissed but read into the record. Sloma sentenced Brinker to 150 days in jail and three years of probation.

• Daniel M. Blackowl, 34, Keshena, pleaded no contest March 24 to two misdemeanor counts of battery, one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct, two misdemeanor counts of operating while revoked and four misdemeanor counts of bail jumping. Two counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record. Sloma sentenced Blackowl to 90 days in jail and three years of probation.

• Charges against Kalisha H. Lyons were dismissed March 24 on prosecutor’s motion. Those charges included one count of possession of methamphetamine and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
