• Samuel C. Yazzie, 37, Keshena, was charged Aug. 2 with one count of operating while intoxicated (fourth offense) and four counts of bail jumping. Judge William F. Kussel Jr. set a $3,000 cash bond and a $3,000 signature bond. He also set a preliminary hearing for Aug. 10.

• Louis J. Sanapaw, 24, Keshena, was charged Aug. 2 with one count of using or attempting to use force to intimidate a victim, four counts of bail jumping, two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and one misdemeanor count of possession of THC. Kussel set a cash bond of $7,500 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Aug. 11.

• Sonny J. Hayes, 40, Cecil, was charged Aug. 2 with one count of operating while intoxicated (fourth offense) and one misdemeanor count of operating while revoked. Kussel set a cash bond of $1,500 and a signature bond of $3,500. This case will resume at a later date.

• Ezell D. Golatt, 30, Menasha, was charged Aug. 2 with one count of manufacture/deliver heroin, less than three grams, one count of manufacture/deliver schedule 1,2 narcotics, one count of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession of narcotic drugs and four counts of bail jumping. Kussel set a cash bond of $20,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Aug. 6.

• Jade L. Pecore, 30, Neopit, was charged Aug. 3 with one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of possession of THC (second or subsequent offense). Kussel set a $100 cash bond and a $1,000 signature bond. Kussel also scheduled a resumed initial appearance for Aug. 24.

• Arlin J. Cox, 43, Keshena, pleaded no contest Aug. 3 to one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of bail jumping. One count of possession of narcotic drugs and seven counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record.

In another case, Cox pleaded no contest to one count of bail jumping, one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct and one misdemeanor count of battery. Two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct and three counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record.

In a third case, Cox pleaded no contest to one count of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of theft of movable property, less than or equal to $2,500. Three counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record.

In a fourth case, Cox pleaded no contest to one count of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of retail theft, less than or equal to $500. One count of bail jumping was dismissed but read into the record. In another case, Cox pleaded no contest to one count of retail theft, one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of bail jumping. Three counts of bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record. In another case, Cox pleaded no contest to one count of bail jumping.

In a fifth case, Cox pleaded no contest to one count of possession of THC (second or subsequent offense). One count of possession of methamphetamine and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed but read into the record. Judge Katherine Sloma sentenced Cox to six months in jail and three years of probation.

• Charges against Elmer J. Kakwitch, 38, Keshena, were dismissed Aug. 4 on prosecutor’s motion. These charges included three counts of bail jumping, three misdemeanor counts of bail jumping, one misdemeanor count of battery and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.

In another case, charges against Kakwitch were also dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. These charges included one count of stalking, one count of substantial battery, two counts of child abuse, 12 counts of bail jumping, one misdemeanor count of theft of movable property less than or equal to $2,500, one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct and 12 misdemeanor counts of bail jumping.

• Brett A. Miller, 42, Bowler, was charged Aug. 4 with one count of strangulation and suffocation, two counts of false imprisonment, two misdemeanor counts of battery and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct. Kussel set a $500 cash bond and a $2,500 signature bond. He also scheduled a resumed initial appearance for Sept. 1.

• Isaiah G. Arseneau, 17, Bowler, was charged Aug. 5 with one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. Kussel set a cash bond of $500 and scheduled a review hearing for Sep. 8.

• Jennifer Cloud, 36, Keshena, was charged Aug. 5 with two counts of bail jumping and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Kussel set a cash bond of $250 and a signature bond of $2,000. He also scheduled a preliminary hearing for Oct. 26.

• Sandra M. Koszarek, 42, Shawano, was charged Aug. 5 with one count of disorderly conduct-domestic abuse repeater. Kussel set a cash bond of $100 and a signature bond of $1,000. He also scheduled a resumed initial appearance for Aug. 24.

• Joseph D. Steffen, 39, Hatley, was charged Aug. 5 with one count of possession of methamphetamine, 12 counts of bail jumping, one misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, one misdemeanor count of operating while revoked and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Kussel set a cash bond of $25,000 and scheduled a preliminary hearing for Aug. 11.

• John F. Braz, 47, Milwaukee, pleaded no contest Aug. 5 to one count of possession of methamphetamine and one count of bail jumping. One count of maintaining a drug trafficking place and one misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia were dismissed but read into the record.

In another case, Braz pleaded no contest to one count of possession with intent, less than or equal to three grams of amphetamine and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. One count of bail jumping was dismissed but read into the record. Kussel sentenced Braz to 587 days in jail.

• Daniel R. Liebergen, 32, Red Granite, pleaded no contest Aug. 6 to one count of operating with prohibited alcohol concentration (fourth offense). One count of operating while intoxicated (fourth offense) was dismissed on prosecutor’s motion. Kussel sentenced Liebergen to 60 days in jail and suspended his license for 24 months.

• Charges against Arthur H. Hicks, 45, Eland, were dismissed Aug. 6 on defendant’s motion. These charges include retail theft and four counts of bail jumping.
