Recent proceedings in Shawano-Menominee County District Court include:

• Austin M. Hartmann, 26, no address listed, was charged Feb. 10 with resisting/obstructing an officer and two counts of felony bail jumping. Judge Katherine Sloma set a cash bond of $500, and Judge William F. Kussel Jr., will preside over a resumed initial appearance Feb. 23.

• Tyler M. Koepke, 26, Tigerton, was charged Feb. 10 with child abuse, recklessly causing great harm with a repeater modifier. Judge Sloma set a $5,000 cash bond plus a signature bond of $20,000, and she will preside over a resumed initial appearance March 2.

• Shawn L. Matson, 45, Wittenberg, was charged Feb. 11 with possession of methamphetamine and five counts of misdemeanor bail jumping. Judge Sloma set a cash bond of $500, and she will preside over a resumed initial appearance April 7.

• Lilawna M. Figueroa, 23, Bowler, was charged Feb. 12 with possession of THC, second offense or more, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Judge Sloma set a cash bond of $500, and Judge Kussel will preside over a resumed initial appearance March 16.

• John C. Micik, 45, Shawano, was charged Feb. 12 with operating while revoked, possession of THC and two counts of felony bail jumping. Micik posted $500 bond set by Judge Sloma, and she will preside over a resumed initial appearance March 1.

• Britney M. Gavitt, 29, Wittenberg, was charged Feb. 12 with operating without a valid license, second within three years, possession of methamphetamine with a repeater modifier; possession of THC, second offense or more with a repeater modifier; possession of drug paraphernalia with a repeater modifier and four counts of felony bail jumping, all with repeater modifiers. Judge Sloma set a cash bond of $1,500, and she will preside over a preliminary hearing Feb. 19.

• Kyle A. Wilber, 20, Fish Creek, was found guilty by Judge Kussel on Feb. 5 of resisting/obstructing an officer with a repeater modifier. Wilber will spend 90 days in jail with Huber Law privileges. For a guilty verdict on possession of methamphetamine with a repeater modifier, Wilber will spend four months in jail with credit for 115 days and Huber law privileges concurrent with other jail time. A concurrent jail term of 60 days was imposed for a conviction on misdemeanor bail jumping with a repeater modifier. A second count of misdemeanor bail jumping was dismissed but read into the record. Wilber was also ordered to pay $1,312.50 in fines and assessments. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor bail jumping were dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion.

• William M. Stimac, 54, Antigo, was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia Feb. 12 by Judge Kussel. A count of possession of narcotic drugs was dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion. Stimac paid $705 in fines and assessments.

• Lana M. Fox, 48, Keshena, was found guilty Feb. 12 by Judge Sloma of operating while revoked, was ordered to pay forfeitures and fines and her license was suspended for 45 days. Fox was also found guilty of felony bail jumping and will spend two years on probation. Jail time of 60 days was deemed served, according to the court record. On a count of possession of THC, second offense and more, Fox was found guilty and will spend two years on probation. Charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and felony bail jumping were dismissed but read into the record. She was ordered to pay $1,783.50 in fines and assessments.

Judge Sloma also found Fox guilty on Feb. 12 of a separate charge of operating while revoked. Jail time of 30 days was deemed served, and her license was suspended for an additional 90 days. Fox was ordered t0 pay $1,149 in fines and assessments.

• Bonifacio Dominguez Valdivia, 59, with no address listed, was found guilty Feb. 12 by Judge Kussel on a count of intimidate/threaten force against a victim with a domestic abuse modifier. Valdivia had a three-year prison term imposed and stayed with five years of extended supervision imposed. Two years of probation were also imposed. Jail time of six months was deemed served with additional jail term credited to another conviction. Charges of using a computer to send a message to threaten injury or harm and contact after a domestic abuse arrest with a domestic abuse modifier were dismissed but read into the record. Valdivia was ordered to pay $540.60 in fines and assessments.

Also Feb. 12, Kussel found Valdivia guilty of substantial battery with intent to do bodily harm. Kussel imposed and stayed an 18-month prison sentence, imposed and stayed 18 months of extended supervision, imposed and stayed alcohol assessment and imposed two years of probation. Counseling and follow-through were ordered. Jail time was deemed served concurrent with other charges.
