Recent proceedings in Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court:

• Matthew G. Dekelver, 30, of Manawa, was charged June 30 with a felony count of operating while intoxicated, fifth or sixth offense. He could face a maximum 10 years in prison and $25,000 fine if convicted. Dekelver was ordered held on a $4,000 cash bond set by Judge William Kussel Jr. and was scheduled for a preliminary hearing on July 8.

• Israel A. Medina, 26, of Shawano, was charged June 30 with a felony count of substantial battery with intent to do bodily harm and misdemeanor counts of domestic abuse-related disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer. He could face a maximum 3 1/2 years in prison and $10,000 fine if convicted on the felony charge. Medina was ordered held on a $750 cash bond set by Judge William Kussel Jr. and was scheduled for an adjourned initial court appearance on July 13.

• Lanathan Wallace, 29, of Pulaski, was charged June 29 with a felony count of strangulation and suffocation and two felony counts intimidating a victim with the use or attempted force. He was also charged with misdemeanor counts disorderly conduct, battery, criminal damage to property and bail jumping. he could face a maximum 10 years in prison and $25,000 fine on each of the intimidation charges if found guilty and six years and a $10,000 fine if convicted of strangulation and suffocation. Wallace was ordered held on a $7,500 cash bond set by Judge William Kussel Jr. and scheduled for an adjourned initial appearance on July 2.

• Lawrence L. Arndt, 57, of Shawano, was charged June 24 with a felony count of second or subsequent possession of marijuana. He could face a maximum 3 1/2 years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted. Arndt posted a $250 cash bond and $1,500 signature bond set by Judge William Kussel Jr. and is due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance on Aug. 3.
