Recent proceedings in Shawano-Menominee County Circuit Court:

• Michelle L. Welnetz, 35, of Birnamwood, was charged Jan. 15 with two felony counts of burglary and a misdemeanor count of theft. She could face a maximum 12½ years in prison and $25,000 fine on each of the felony counts if convicted. Welnetz is due in court for an initial appearance on Feb. 3.

• Ian M. Weiss, 21, of Gillett, was charged Jan. 13 with a felony count of bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. He could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine for bail jumping if found guilty. Weiss is scheduled for an initial court appearance on Jan. 31.

• Hunter R. Riden, 21, of Mattoon, was charged Jan. 13 with two felony counts of bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of operating after revocation and resisting or obstructing an officer. He could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine on the felony counts if convicted. Riden is scheduled for an initial court appearance on Jan. 27.

• Arthur H. Hicks, 44, of Rosholt, was charged Jan. 13 with a felony count of retail theft and four felony counts of bail jumping. He could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine on each of the bail jumping counts if convicted, and 3½ years and a $10,000 fine for felony theft. Hicks is due in court for an initial appearance on Feb. 17.

• Diana M. Wynos, 25, of Shawano, was charged Jan. 13 with a felony count of taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent and misdemeanor counts of theft and bail jumping. She could face a maximum 12½ years in prison and $25,000 fine if convicted of the felony count. Wynos is scheduled for an initial court appearance on Feb. 7.

• Gary G. Cuevas, 45, homeless, was charged Jan. 13 with a felony count of aggravated battery with intent to do bodily harm and a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. He could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine on the felony count if convicted. Cuevas was ordered held on a $500 cash bond set by Judge James Habeck and is due in court for an adjourned initial appearance Jan. 27.

• Jay R. Selle, 58, of Zavalla, Texas, was charged Jan. 13 with a felony count of fleeing or eluding an officer in a vehicle and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer. He could face a maximum 3½ years in prison and $10,000 fine on the felony count if found guilty. Selle posted a $2,500 cash bond set by Judge James Habeck and is due back in court for an adjourned initial appearance Feb. 3.

• Hunter S. Kleist, 25, of Pulaski, was charged Jan. 13 with two felony counts of bail jumping and a misdemeanor count of operating while revoked. He could face a maximum six years in prison and $10,000 fine on each of the bail jumping counts if convicted, Kleist is free on a $1,000 signature bond set by Judge James Habeck and is scheduled for an adjourned initial court appearance on Jan. 27.

• Charles F. Batiste, 42, of De Pere, was charged Jan. 13 with a felony count of eighth-offense operating while intoxicated and a misdemeanor count of operating while revoked. He could face a maximum 12½ years in prison and $25,000 fine if convicted of the felony count. Batiste was ordered held on a $4,000 cash bond set by Judge James Habeck and is scheduled for an adjourned initial court appearance on Jan. 27.
