Connor R. Kellogg

Connor R. Kellogg, 5, Oconto Falls, was surrounded by his loved ones and was guided by an angel and went home into the loving arms of Jesus on Aug. 7, 2019. He was born in Green Bay to Douglas and Dawn Kellogg on Sept. 24, 2013. Connor was a strong-willed, energetic, sweet-spirited little boy with a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh that could light up the darkest places and remind people to live life being happy. Connor attended Oconto Falls Elementary School where his early childhood autism teachers, therapists, volunteers and staff learned very quickly to laugh, smile and have their running shoes on! Connor enjoyed Mickey Mouse, running, jumping, playing with puzzle pieces, cards and putting stickers on everything — even TVs and furniture. Connor’s favorite times were spent going for walks with his wagon, giving tight hugs, watching “Miles from Tomorrowland” and Mickey Mouse movies, trading toys with his little brother Owen, wrestling with his daddy and going to Lifest with his mommy, Grandma Julie and great aunts where he would rock out to David Crowder music. The bond he shared with his cousins was undeniable. The love they had for each other was more like siblings, especially with his cousin Mackenzie. Connor was only here for five, almost six, years, yet he still managed to touch the lives and hearts of everyone he met. The love and memories he leaves behind will always and forever be remembered.

Connor is survived by his loving parents, Douglas and Dawn Kellogg; little brother Owen; grandparents, Robert and Cathy Kellogg, Julie Pasternak; aunts, Kjirsten (Lewis) Kellogg, Nicole Sanders; uncles, James (Katie) Vannaman, Brandon Vannaman; cousins, Steven, Mackenzie and Austin Sanders, Bryan, Preston, Trevor and Kourtney Vannaman, Morgan, Mallori, Leah and Laney Rymer; many great-grandparents, great-aunts and great-uncles, second and third cousins and family friends.

Connor was preceded in death by his uncle, Robert Sanders, and grandfather, Tom Bickel.

The family will greet family and friends at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 121 Chicago St., Oconto, on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The honoring of Connor’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor John Carlson officiating. A meal will follow immediately after at Oconto Falls Elementary School, 415 Volk Drive, in Oconto Falls.
