Saginaw Valley State

Shawano graduate Tori DePerry continued to contribute for the Saginaw Valley State University women’s basketball team.

In a loss to Purdue Northwest on Jan. 2, DePerry tallied two rebounds and two assists in nine minutes of game action.

In a tight loss to Parkside on Jan. 4, DePerry scored three points, grabbed five rebounds and dished out three assists in 19 minutes. The freshman, who scored her points from the free-throw line, also blocked a shot.

St. Norbert

Shawano graduate Jeffrey Green swam in two events for the St. Norbert College men’s swim team in a dual loss to Milwaukee on Saturday.

Green finished fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2 minutes, 38.38 seconds.

Green placed seventh in the 50 freestyle with a time of 23.46.

Wausau

Gresham graduate Drew Haffner helped the Wausau Huskies pick up a tight win over the Fond Du Lac Falcons on Saturday.

Haffner scored seven points in Wausau’s 93-89 win.

Utah State Eastern

Gresham graduate Christian Haffner stuffed the stat sheet despite the Utah State Eastern men’s basketball team suffering a 69-55 loss to College of Southern Idaho on Saturday.

Haffner scored three points while also tallying a steal, two assists and three rebounds in 28 minutes.

UW-La Crosse

Clintonville graduate Sami Smejkal swam in two events for the UW-La Crosse women’s swim team at the Orange Bowl Swim Classic in Key Largo, Fla. on Jan. 3

The freshman placed 13th in the 100 butterfly in a time of 1:14.88. Smejkal placed 16th in the 50 butterfly (32.99).
