Athlete Profile: Wyatt Herzog
GILLETT — The Gillett High School boys basketball team believes it has the players and skills to turn in a strong season on the court. Wyatt Herzog is part of the team’s core and hopes to end his senior season on a strong note.
Herzog does a little bit of everything for the Tigers. He is a capable scorer and can rebound well for a point guard. Herzog is also a strong passer, helping set up some of his teammates for shots.
“He’s a hard-working kid who strives to do his best,” said Gillett coach Russ Long of Herzog. “Never misses a practice or open gym, always working to get better.”
