Athlete Profile: Alezaha King

Senior a role model for teammates

Menominee Indian High School senior Alezaha King has led the volleyball team on and off the court this season.

Not only has King been the Eagles’ top attacker this fall, she also put together a strong showing during the team’s alternate fall season schedule this past spring.

King’s best performance of the fall season came in a four-set win over Oneida Nation on Sept. 27. She recorded 24 kills, 23 digs and four aces that night.

King tallied 16 attack kills in losses to Crandon and Shiocton this season.

The senior has been playing on varsity since her freshman season and hopes to continue playing the sport at the collegiate level as well.
