Anne A. Johnson

Anne A. Johnson, 96, Oconto Falls, died peacefully Friday morning, April 23, 2021, at Meadowbrook Health Care Center. She was born June 6, 1924, in Milwaukee to Antone and Mary (Roth) Atsch.

On March 24, 1945, she married Orland H. Johnson in Gillett. The couple lived in Suring before moving to Oconto Falls and raising three sons. Anne once worked at Gillett Canning, the Falls Restaurant and Coachlight Motel in Oconto Falls over the years. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and volunteered at the Oconto Falls Senior Center.

Survivors are one son, Randy “Dime” (Sue) Johnson, Sobieski; two daughters-in-law, Donna Johnson, Green Bay; Marilyn (Greg) McCrossin, Florida; 10 grandchildren, Chad Johnson, Heidi (Russ) Sowle, Heather (Jamie) Zoch and Todd (Sarah) Johnson; Eric (Deanna) Johnson, Kevin (Roxanne) Johnson and Brooke (Femi) Cole; Amanda, Jarrett and Danielle Johnson; 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1984, two sons, Dennis and Tom Johnson, one brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be held 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021, at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls, prayer service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Oconto Falls until the time of service. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Fr. Greg Parent officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oconto Falls.
