Adams duo leads Oconto Falls boys at conference cross-country meet

Joe Adams and Ben Adams posted top-10 finishes to lead the Oconto Falls High School boys cross-country team at the North Eastern Conference Meet on Oct. 15 in Luxemburg.

Joe Adams led the team with a fourth-place finish in 16 minutes, 58.95 seconds. Ben Adams came in ninth in 17:46.09.

The boys team placed fourth with a total score of 88. Little Chute was first with a mark of 32.

The Oconto Falls girls team placed fifth with a score of 132. Freedom was first with a score of 23.

Grant Yuma (18:42.97) placed 22nd for the boys team. Griffin Kopke (19:10.73) took 27th, while Brant Laluzerne (19:22.23) was 32nd.

Hannah Ludemann paced the girls team with a 16th-place finish in 21:00.27.

Brooke Hodkiewicz (21:07.75) came in 19th, while Hailey Delzer (21:19.49) was 21st. Maddy Przybylski (23:16.9) claimed 40th, while Sydney Bell (24:04.8) was 41st to round out the team score.

Girls team scores: 1. Freedom 23; 2. Little Chute 32; 3. Fox Valley Lutheran 105; 4. Luxemburg-Casco 125; 5. Oconto Falls 132; 6. Marinette 145; 7. Waupaca 195; 8. Denmark 220.
