The spring high school sports season continues to add sports to the fold, but the status of fields and playing surfaces still remain the biggest obstacle facing teams.
Boys golf and boys tennis teams open practice on March 27. By the end of the week, teams in those sports could be playing as the first boys golf competitions can take place March 30, and the first boys tennis events on March 31.
Baseball and girls soccer games can both start up on March 28.
Instead of listing all the area sporting events scheduled as of March 26, the public is encouraged to check school’s athletic calendars to see what events might be taking place this coming week.
