Magdaline 'Maggie' Smith

Magdaline “Maggie” Smith, 89, of Birnamwood, died on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, at Cloverleaf Terrace in Birnamwood, under the care of Interim Hospice.

Maggie was born on Nov. 7, 1935, in the Town of Rolling, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Brunner) Servi. Maggie was one of the Servi triplets.

Maggie graduated from Eau Claire River Grade School in the Town of Harrison, Marathon County, and then went to Antigo High School.

Clark Lester Lightfoot, 15, of Lakewood, was called to rest in the Lord’s arms on the evening of Saturday Dec. 7, 2024, as the result of a single ATV accident.

Guenter Woosmann

Guenter Franz Gustav Woosmann, 86, of Gillett, passed away on Monday, Dec. 9, 2024, with family by his side.

Guenter was born on Aug. 31, 1938, to the late Erich and Berta (Meckelburg) Woosmann in Elbing, Germany. Guenter joined the German navy at 19 years old and served for six years. While in the navy, he traveled to the Great Lakes Naval Base in Chicago and met his wife, Olga Mantai.

Philip E. Reed

Philip E. Reed, 82, of Legend Lake, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2024.

Philip was born April 1, 1942, to the late Wallace and Freda (Vorpahl) Reed on the family farm in Gillett. On Feb. 1, 1964, Philip married Janice Heath of South Branch, and the couple raised five children.

He was a self-employed logger for Reed Forest Products and retired in 1999. He was a talented woodworker and builder, helping his family build their homes and making many pieces of furniture.

Timothy P. Brusewitz

Timothy P. Brusewitz, age 61, of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024, at ThedaCare in Shawano.

Timothy was born on March 17, 1963, in Shawano to Daniel and Verna (Bahr) Brusewitz. He graduated from Bonduel High School with the class of 1981.

Following high school, he worked at Kmart in Kimberly, Green Bay and then Shawano. He attended Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College and later started his career as a correctional officer in Shawano. After 28 years of service, Timothy retired on Feb. 4, 2022, and began working at Options Lab.

George Morris Sr.

George Morris Sr., 89, Stiles, died suddenly Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, at home surrounded by family.

He was born March 14, 1935, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to George and Elsie (Valentine) Morris. As a young man, he served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.

George lived in the Stiles area for most of his life where he was self-employed as an automobile mechanic and body man. He was also an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman.

Charlotte A. Kranski

Charlotte A. Kranski, 81, of Larsen, died on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024, at her home under the care of her family and Compassus Hospice.

Charlotte was born on June 15, 1943, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Andrew and Pearl (Koziczkowski) Yenter.

Charlotte was united in marriage to Kenneth Kranski on Aug. 26, 1961. The couple settled in Grand Chute, where they lived and raised four children. The couple later divorced.

Debra E. Schley, 63, of the Town of Bear Creek, passed away on Nov. 26, 2024, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center, Neenah.

The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting the Schley family.

Daryl C. Krueger

Daryl C. Krueger, 82, of Cloverleaf Lakes, passed away Nov. 27, 2024. He died peacefully at home with family by his side.

The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting the Krueger family.

Teah Benser

Teah Rae Benser, 44, of Pound, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2024, at an area hospital with her family by her side.

She was born June 30, 1980, in Green Bay to Rick and Gail (Tappa) Benser. She graduated from Oconto Falls High School, class of 1998.

Teah always had a love for children and would light up around them. Because of this, she enjoyed teaching pre-kindergarten and thrived in her position as director of Kinder Care in De Pere. In her free time, Teah enjoyed scrapbooking, chatting with friends and spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews.
