The Holt and Balcom Logging Camp Museum in Lakewood has concluded a successful 2021 season after going dark last year due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Salvation Army of Shawano County is in need of volunteers to ring bells during the Red Kettle Campaign, which runs through Christmas Eve. The bell ringing stations are located at Charlie’s County Market, Qualheim’s True Value and at each Walmart entry. Ringing takes place on Fridays and Saturdays during the season from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
