Wittenberg-Birnamwood 78, Manawa 22

Rory Salvesen scored 27 points to pace the Chargers in a 78-22 win over Manawa.

Also scoring in double digits for Wittenberg-Birnamwood were Melaina Granquist with 16, Ava Brei with 13 and Harper Rogowski with 12.

“We worked up a nice first half lead,” coach Nick Mechelke said. “Our pressure defense was a big factor tonight.”

Nordin scores 35 in Hawks victory

It was back and forth in a tough and physical game, but Shawano pulled away with a couple minutes remaining to seal the victory.

Leah Nordin was unstoppable with 35 points.

The Hawks improved to 8-6.

Bears, Tigers keep win streaks going

Bonduel 86, Weyauwega-Fremont 57

Quinn Wesenberg scored 29 points, and Ryan Westrich added 27 as Bonduel defeated Weyauwega-Fremont 86-57.

Jack Weier also scored 12 points.

The Bears improved to 11-0 overall and 7-0 in conference play.

Tigerton 67, Northland Lutheran 35

Hawks win in double overtime

Shawano 4, Mosinee 3 (OT)

Shawano and Mosinee played into a double overtime period before the Hawks pulled out a 4-3 victory.

Shawano Community High School sophomore Quinten Harkey scored the winning goal at 1:15 in the second overtime period with Michael Dillenberg assisting.

The game started with Mosinee talking a 1-0 lead in the first period.

Ice Bears shut out Wildcats 5-0

Bay Area 5, USM 0

The Ice Bears returned to their old ways, shutting out the USM Wildcats 5-0.

Bay Area improved to 7-0 in the Eastern Shores Conference and 14-1 overall.

Westrich becomes all-time leading scorer for Bonduel boys

Bonduel 79, Wausau East 49

Bonduel improved to 10-0 on the season with its 79-49 rout over Wausau East.

Senior Ryan Westrich scored 22 points and became the all-time scoring leader for Bonduel’s boys basketball program. He now has 1,339 points.

Quinn Wesenberg led the Bears against Wausau East with 27 points. Carter Moesch contributed 11 points in the win.

Marion/Tigerton rolls over Rosholt

Marion/Tigerton 53, Rosholt 24

Marion/Tigerton improved to 7-4 overall with a with a 53-24 win over Rosholt in a nonconference game in Rosholt.

Menominee Nation 58, Manawa 32

The Eagles rolled over the Wolves 58-32 and improved to 3-3 in the CWC-East and 10-4 overall.
