The Ice Bears ended the regular season on a winning note, a 4-3 overtime victory over nonconference foe Central Wisconsin Storm in Mosinee.

Faye Brunke scored the winning goal at 2:25 in OT with assist from Mya Sheppard and Reese Spiering.

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 71, Pacelli 69

Wittenberg-Birnamwood hung on to defeat Pacelli 71-69 in a nonconference game.

The Chargers led 32-26 at halftime, but the Cardinals fought back to force a 62-62 tie. Luckily for the Chargers, a few key baskets down the stretch preserved the win.

Hawks hockey team wins season finale

Shawano 9, Rhinelander 1

The Shawano/Bonduel hockey team closed out their regular season with a 9-1 win over Rhinelander and wins in four of their last five games.

Kielian Armbruster and Gavin Hundt each had two goals for the Hawks, and Hundt also had two assists.

Hawks girls soar past Thunderbirds

Shawano 77, Lakeland 46

The Hawks started out slow, but a late first-half run led to a 39-22 halftime lead. Shawano then put the game away in the second half, winning 77-46.

Leah Nordin had 36 points, and Maci Beyer scored 17 to lead the Hawks.

Chargers boys win in overtime

Wittenberg-Birnamwood 51, Edgar 49 (OT)

Wittenberg-Birnamwood defeated Edgar 51-49 in overtime to win the nonconference matchup in Wittenberg.
