Robert Charles Thimke, 97, of Shawano, passed away at 12:12 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 31, 2020, surrounded by his family and his companion, Shorts the cat. Bob was born Sept. 26, 1922, to the late William F. and Emma (Engel) Thimke in Shawano. Bob grew up with his brother, Harry, and his sister, Ruth, during the Depression, residing on Lafayette Street and having lots of adventures with his gregarious neighborhood friends.

Rickey Milanowski, 60, of Belle Plaine, passed away Sunday, Aug. 30, 2020. Ricky was born Aug. 27, 1960, to the late Edward and Lillian (Wrochota) Milanowski in Milwaukee. Rickey was employed by Aarowcast from 2011 until present and also owned Ed and Lil’s Bar. He enjoyed building remote control cars. Rickey had natural mechanical abilities and was an electronics whiz.

Justin M. Diemel, 24, of Navarino, was taken, along with his big brother, Nick, from his family on July 21, 2019.

Doris R. Hoffman, 96, of the Town of Waukechon, Shawano, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020. Doris was born on July 14, 1924, to the late Emil and Ella (Schachtschneider) Habeck in Clintonville. She graduated from Clintonville High School in 1942. Doris worked at FWD in Clintonville until she was married. On Aug. 12, 1950, Doris was united in marriage to Martin Hoffman at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Pella Opening.

Nicholas J.T. “Nick” Diemel, 34, of Navarino, was taken, along with his baby brother, Justin, from his family on July 21, 2019. He was born on Sept. 25, 1984, to Jack and Pamela (Glatz) Diemel. He was united in marriage to his high school sweetheart, Lisa, on Oct. 5, 2013, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Cicero. Nick was living his dream operating Diemel’s Livestock with his brothers, Brandon and Justin.

Keith “Huntz” David Lawrenz, 64, of Foley, Alabama, (formerly of Avilla, Indiana, and Bonduel) passed away Aug. 20, 2020, at home with his family by his side.
