Shawano boys win Bay Conference Triangular

Bay Conference Triangular

Shawano’s boys track and field team won first place with 120.5 points and the girls placed third with 51 at Seymour.

The boys captured several gold medals including Bryce Lammers in the 100-meter dash in 11.74 and the 200-meter dash in 23.92.

Winning in the 800-meter run was Joshua Lesperance in 2:15.73. Beckett Hendricks won the 1,600-meter run in 5:17.85, and Quinten Harkey won the 3,200-meter run in 12:00.16.

The Hawks won all four relay races.

The 4x100 title went to Aiden Rasmussen, Heriberto Rubio, Sosaeh Tepiew and Joseph Kleinschmidt in 46.10. the 4x200 was won by Nolan Kleinschmidt, Cyprien Barbier, Ryder Herm and Wyatt Schroeder in 1:42.72.

Ryan Schwitzer, Maverick Theis, Cambren Zeuske and Lesperance won the 4x400 in 3:49.54. Winning the 4x800 were Wyatt Ritchie, Parth Vaishnav, Logan Frechette and Barbier in 10:17.82.

Joseph Doperalski won the shot put at 45 feet, 2.75 inches, and Drew Chelberg won the discus at 143-10.

Schwitzer won the pole vault with a jump of 12 feet.

For the girls, Maci Beyer finished first in the 400-meter dash in 1:03.18, and Jillian Guenther won the 800-meter run in 2:44.04.

Taking the top spot in the 4x400 were Zoe Sipple, Emma Nielson, Kylie Port and Anessa Bantle in 4:47.62.

Beyer also won the high jump at 5 feet, and Tela Hopfensperger won the pole vault at 8 feet.

Clintonville NEC Meet

Oconto Falls’ girls team tallied 140 points and earned second place at Clintonville. The boys scored 103 and placed fifth among six teams.

Rylie Shallow won the 200-meter dash in 27.10.

The Panthers won three of the four relay events.

In the 4x100, it was Emery Pagel, Brooke Fenlon, Gracie Miller and Shallow winning in 50.77. In the 4x200, Alexandria Braund, Ava Savage, Sydney Braund and Lucy Ripley won in 1:54.95, and in the 4x800, it was Evelyn Savage, Lily Meissner, Lily Caelwaerts and Alison Kramer getting the gold in 13:21.49.

Suring/Gillett Invite

Bonduel’s boys finished first with 168 points, and the girls were third with 140 points at Suring.

Suring’s girls were second with 153 points, and the boys were third with 105.

Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy took fourth on both sides of the ledger. The boys had 99.5 points, and the girls tallied 86.

Gillett’s girls scored 42 points for sixth place, and the boys had 31 points for seventh.

Taking first for the Bonduel boys were Malachi Gray in the 100-meter dash in 11.57.

Griffin Uelmen, Mason Ballwahn, Carter Moesch and Jack Weier took first place in the 4x400 in 3:39.56, and Gage Anderson, Ballwahn, Uelmen and Oliver Chitwood won the 4x800 in 9:08.35.

Ryan Westrich won gold in the shot put at 50 feet, 9 inches, and the discus at 139-7.

Suring’s Blake DeGrave won the 300-meter hurdles in 45.47.

Dayne Ermis, Dyllan Flynn, Kroix Kempka and C.J. Richard placed first in the 4x200 relay in 1:39.07.

Lena/STAA’s Zander Thomson captured first in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.75. He also won the long jump at 21-5.

Lucas Heimke finished on top in the triple jump at 39-7.

Gillett’s Bradyn Wendorff won the 1,600-meter run in 4:43.27 and the 3,200-meter run in 10:34.15.

For the Suring girls, Aliya Cox won the 100-meter hurdles in 16.93 and the 300-meter hurdles in 48.03.

Cox was joined by Ginger Gerndt, Kayler Kempka and Lexi Remic in winning the 4x400 in 4:23.90.

Chloe Schroeder won the discus with a throw of 80-8.

Bonduel’s Mariah Wondra took first in the 3,200-meter run in 11:43.46.

Winning the 4x800 were Katie O’Brien, Wondra, Kember Frome and Payten Bierhals in 10:49.70.

Morgan Staszak’s effort of 29-6 was enough to win the shot put.

Paige Biquette finished first in the long jump at 16-2.25, and Peyton Westrich won the triple jump at 33-8.50.

The best finish for Lena/STAA was second in the 4x100 with team members Abby Kostreva, Hailee Collar, Laila Collar and Brynn Heise. Hailee Collar, Heise, Hayden McNurlen and Kaitlyn Borkovec placed second in the 4x200. Second in the 4x800 were Alisa Finger, Alexis Maloney, Kate Peters and Adrena Rabas.

Kostreva was second in the long jump.

Gillett’s best placement went to Amanda Pate’s second-place finish in the 3,200-meter run and Maggie Kaczmarek’s second-place throw in the discus.

Father Mac Relays

Wittenberg-Birnamwood athletes competed in five events, won two and had podium finishes in the other three at Chippewa Falls.

Harper Krull placed first in the girls long jump at 15-06, with Eleanor Tassler finishing fifth.

The boys 4x400-meter relay team won in 3:44.40.

The girls 4x400 team placed second.

Aydrean McGeshick finished third in the boys long jump, and Logan Gibson was fourth in the boys triple jump.
