Lucille L. Coppens

Lucille Lenore (Firgens) Coppens, 90, passed away July 25, 2019, at St. Clare Memorial Hospital with her loving family surrounding her. She was born Oct. 19, 1928, in Oconto Falls to John and Anna Firgens. She spent her early years in a log cabin with no running water in Breed, with the later years in rural Oconto Falls. She had one sister, Margaret, and one brother, Rudolph.
Daniel L. Gottschalk
Daniel Lee Gottschalk, 79, of Lakewood, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2019. Daniel was born on Feb. 6, 1940, to the late Ozzie and Ruth (Rhodes) Gottschalk. Daniel married Delores Schumacher on Dec. 26, 1959. After retiring, they moved from Freedom to Lakewood.
Mildred Buboltz
Mildred (Millie) Buboltz entered heaven May 28, 2019, after a brief illness and stay at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay. Born March 4, 1924, to William and Hedwig Richter of Lessor, Millie lived her life as a devoted Christian. After graduating from Bonduel High School, Millie spent time working in Green Bay, Milwaukee and Chicago before moving back to Bonduel. In 1947, she met Arnold Buboltz, and they married on Aug. 14, 1948.
Ronnie G. Mehlberg
Ronnie “Ron” G. Mehlberg, 54, of Caroline, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at his home. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home and Crematory, Clintonville, is assisting Ron’s family with the arrangements.
Charles L. Buettner
Charles L. “Chas” Buettner, 90, a lifelong resident of the Town of Richmond, passed away peacefully Monday evening, May 27, 2019, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Shawano. Chas was born May 24, 1929, in the Town of Richmond, a son of Albert and Anna (Sperberg) Buettner. He attended the Forest School and later Shawano High School, graduating in 1947.
Jeffrey J. Dudek
Fair warning. This will not be your typical obituary because Jeffrey J. Dudek was most certainly not a typical man. He came into this world on May 10, 1971, as a tiny little preemie, born to Bob and Alice (Westphal) Dudek. A high risk pregnancy and birth; Alice was advised to not have any more babies after this one. The mold was broken.
Donna Jean Heling
Donna Jean Heling, 86, of the Town of Waukechon, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019, at The Pines in Clintonville. She was born on July 20, 1932, to the late George and Mary (Rosenow) Maltbey in Shawano. Donna attended and graduated from Shawano High School. She was united in marriage to Vernon Heling on Feb. 4, 1956, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Belle Plaine. Donna was a long-time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
