Donald L. Schmeisser, 73, Abrams, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019. Born on May 31, 1946, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Harold and Rose (Strandt) Schmeisser. Don is a graduate of Neenah/Menasha High School. He was a retired member of Local 400, and also worked as a steamfitter for many years. Don was proud of the work he did, and enjoyed the friendships he made through the course of his career.

Martin J. Smits, 93, Gillett, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019. He was born in Cooks, Michigan, on May 5, 1926, a son of the late Martin H. and Rose (Boehm) Smits. Martin was a graduate of Suring High School and went on to serve honorably in the U.S. Army. He married Alice Mae (Jeske) on Nov. 24, 1956, at St. Michael Catholic Church in Suring and together they raised three children. Martin farmed for much of his life in Gillett.

Brooklynn Daisy Mae Wedde, was born into eternal life Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019. Brooklynn is survived by her parents, Brad and Karrie Wedde; and siblings, Konner, Benson and her twin, Ava. Isabelle E. Luebeck, 86, of Suring, passed away on Friday, Aug. 16, 2019. Isabelle was born on April 27, 1933, in the Town of Breed to the late Arthur and Clara (Zimmerman) Heise. On Feb. 11, 1950, Isabelle married Ellsworth “Ecker” Luebeck at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Breed. Together they built a house and raised five children on Heise Road. Isabelle founded and organized the Suring Labor Day talent show for many years.
