Musicians have a wonderful time Aug. 8 at the Pond View Glen stage for the Shawano Folk Music Festival. The stage was hosted by the Green Apple Folk Music Society.

• Cassandra M. Hilliard, 36, Plainfield, pleaded no contest Aug. 3 to possession of methamphetamine. Judge William Kussel Jr. withheld sentencing and placed her on 18 months of probation with conditions.

• Brendan T. Hoover, 26, Wausau, pleaded no contest Aug. 4 to felony bail jumping. Kussel levied a fine and sentenced him to 180 days in county jail.

• Gregory Keith Dugan, 34, formerly of Little Suamico, had his probation revoked April 15 from a conviction earlier this year on misdemeanor charges of theft, disorderly conduct and resisting or obstructing an officer. The theft charge was amended from an original felony count. Judge James Morrison sentenced him July 31 to 18 months in prison followed by six months of extended supervision.

Oconto Falls Municipal Utilities workers have been assisting the crews of Menasha Utilities after a devastating EF-3 tornado swept through the city at the end of July, helping to restore electricity for more than 80% of area customers in the week that followed.
