Keshena

Menominee Tribal Clinic offers options for clinic patients only. Point of care testing is done on site and results are available the same day. This testing method including instruments, swabs, and transport media are supplied through the Indian Health Service and funded by COVID relief monies federally-appropriated for tribal communities. These testing kits are limited in number and are reserved for clinic patients only, with COVID-19 symptoms. The clinic also uses COVID testing supplies for specimens sent to Mayo Clinic through ThedaCare, with a longer turnaround time, currently 4-6 days. These tests are used primarily for testing persons who are asymptomatic and in quarantine since they must complete quarantine regardless of results.
