Oconto Falls girls track and field team 1st at home invitational

The Oconto Falls High School girls track and field team turned in a first-place finish during the Oconto Falls Invitational on April 28 in Oconto Falls.

Oconto Falls earned 104½ points, with Marinette in second with 98 points. The Bonduel girls claimed fourth with 69½ points and the Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy co-op came in ninth with 28 points.

On the boys side, the top-finishing area team was Oconto Falls at fourth with 71 points. Lena/STAA took fifth with 49½ points, while Bonduel came in seventh with 43 points.

Hannah Ludemann had the only top individual finish for Oconto Falls after posting the top time of 6 minutes, 0.85 seconds in the 1,600-meter run.

Ludemann was on the first-place finishing 4x400 relay that had a time of 4:38.14. Brooke Hodkiewicz, Brynn Hodkiewicz and Maddy Przybylski filled out the team. Przybylski teamed up with Hailey Delzer, Arianna Impastato and Brynn Hodkiewicz for a top finish in the 4x800 relay (11:37.97).

Joe Adams had the only first-place finish for the Oconto Falls boys, winning the 3,200 in 10:35.9.

The Bonduel boys were led by Gaven Vance, who had the top time in the 200 (23.41). Ashlyn Kurey led the girls team with a top finish in the 800 (2:41.13) and triple jump (32-5).

Lena/STAA also had three first-place finishes. Sam Marquardt won the boys 100 (11.91), while Sidney Sylvester was first in the boys triple jump (38-9). Eva Brooks won the girls high jump (5-0).
