Proceedings of April 6

Bond was set at $25,000 cash for Cody R. Ludwig, 29, Marinette, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine and felony bail jumping in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 4. His initial appearance was adjourned until April 15.

An Aug. 24-25 jury trial was scheduled for Jason J. Samsa, 33, Abrams, who is charged with misappropriation of identity information to obtain money and theft of movable property, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 7; and burglary and misdemeanor theft, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 6. A final pre-trial conference was rescheduled for July 27.

Travis L. Lacount, 42, Oconto Falls, was placed on 18 months’ probation after a one-year county jail term was imposed and stayed for possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony, in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 23, 2019. Judge Jay N. Conley levied fines and court costs of $591 and ordered the weapon involved in the incident confiscated.

Nathan John Lloyd, 20, Milwaukee, pleaded no contest to an amended charge of third-degree sexual assault, in connection with an incident that occurred April 25, 2020. Judge Michael T. Judge scheduled sentencing for June 1 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

Jeremiah T. Irving, 25, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of possession of methamphetamine (second and subsequent offense) and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 18. Arraignment was scheduled for April 15.

Proceedings of April 5

An April 7-8 jury trial was again rescheduled for Oct. 28-29 for Dylan D. Walk, 29, Menominee, Michigan, formerly Abrams, on a felony charge of strangulation and suffocation, as well as misdemeanor animal mistreatment and two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 5, 2019, and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 13. A final pre-trial conference was set for Oct. 6.

Tyler J. Klempke, 20, Crivitz, pleaded no contest to possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony, in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 25. Judge Michael T. Judge scheduled sentencing for June 21 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

A bench warrant was issued for William A. Riskus, 36, Oconto, after he failed to appear for a preliminary hearing on charges of possession of methamphetamine and possession of THC (second or subsequent offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 7.

After a preliminary hearing, Schad M. Playman, 40, Oconto, was bound over on a burglary charge in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 30. Arraignment was scheduled for April 15.

After a preliminary hearing, David R. Riskus, 33, Oconto, was bound over on charges of felony bail jumping, five counts of misdemeanor bail jumping, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 28. Arraignment was scheduled for April 12.

Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Allan C. Evans, 34, Abrams, after he was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense) and misdemeanor counts of operating while revoked, resisting or obstructing an officer, possession of THC and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 31. His initial appearance was adjourned until April 15.

Bond was set at $5,000 cash for James L. Nerenhausen, 23, Oconto, after he was charged with battery or threat to a law officer and misdemeanor counts of battery, criminal damage to property, bail jumping, resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 31. His initial appearance was adjourned until April 15.

Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Michael M. Nerenhausen, 30, Oconto, after he was charged with possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred April 1. His initial appearance was adjourned until April 15.

Proceedings of March 30

Bond was set at $1,500 cash for Cheryl Lynn Beck, 45, Kenosha, after she was charged with possession of narcotic drugs, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 29. Her initial appearance was adjourned until April 15.

Christopher K. LaLonde, 30, Cecil, was placed on two years of probation after a prison sentence was imposed and stayed for possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred Oct. 28, and a misdemeanor charge of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (first offense). Judge Jay N. Conley ordered that LaLonde serve a conditional jail sentence consecutive to Menominee and Shawano counties until Oct. 28. His license is suspended for six months and he must maintain absolute sobriety during probation, among other conditions.

A jury trial was rescheduled for Dec. 1-2 for Steven M. Schmitz, 66, Crivitz, who is charged with three counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and one count of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 16, 2020. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for Nov. 15.

A bench warrant was issued for Francesca Inez Ellan Henckel, 23, Peshtigo, after she failed to appear at a court hearing on charges of possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 28.

Bond was set at $1,000 cash for Michael Edward Garvey, 39, Marinette, after he was charged with two counts of possession of narcotic drugs, in connection with an incident that occurred March 26. His initial appearance was adjourned until April 15.

Bond was set at $500 cash for Katherine L. Reith, 29, Sussex, after she was charged with possession of THC (second or subsequent offense) and misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 26. Her initial appearance was adjourned until April 15.
