Proceedings of March 25
Trevin L. Dorner, 50, Green Bay, was placed on three years of probation after a prison sentence was imposed and stayed for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense) and misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that occurred June 26. The probation includes nine months in the county jail, but Dorner received credit for 271 days already served since his arrest. Judge Michael T. Judge ruled that, among other conditions, Dorner must maintain absolute sobriety and complete all assessments, counseling and treatment deemed necessary by his agent.
Tyler J. Wolf, 32, Oconto, was placed on one year of probation for felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that occurred May 25, 2021. Judge ruled that among other conditions, Wolf must maintain absolute sobriety and full-time employment and complete an alcohol and other drug abuse assessment, following through with recommended treatment and counseling.
Michael L Connerton, 34, Cudahy, pleaded no contest to taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent, in connection with an incident that occurred March 31, 2020. Judge James A. Morrison scheduled sentencing for June 15 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
James R. Wilson, 38, Lena, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to repeated sexual assault of the same child and exposing himself to a child, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 21, 2021, and child abuse recklessly causing harm and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 30, 2021. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for June 16 on those cases and previous charges of first-degree sexual assault of a child under age 13 and child enticement for the purpose of sexual contact, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 27, 2021.
Hunter Joseph Schaden, 20, Oconto Falls, pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree sexual assault of a child under 13, causing a child to view or listen to a sex act and child enticement for sexual contact, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred in 2015. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 19.
After a preliminary hearing, Jessica J. Baxter, 25, Oconto Falls, was bound over on charges of possession of narcotic drugs, possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC, maintaining a drug trafficking place and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred June 9. Arraignment was not immediately scheduled.
Michael J. Portier, 70, Lena, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to substantial battery intending bodily harm and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 26. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 19.
Krysta Marie Rouer, 21, Sturgeon Bay, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 14. A plea hearing was scheduled for April 22.
A jury trial was rescheduled to Aug. 16-17 for Sarah L. Alberts, 39, Oconto, who is charged with chronic neglect of a child with the consequence of sexual assault, harboring or aiding a felon and failure to act against a child sex assault. A final pre-trial conference was set for Aug. 2.
An Aug. 16-17 jury trial was scheduled for Phillip E. Miller, 42, Gillett, who is charged with repeated sexual assault of the same child. A final pre-trial conference was set for July 15.
An April 6 jury trial was rescheduled to July 12 for Micky W. Michalak, 54, Oconto, on charges of taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent and misdemeanor counts of criminal damage to property and resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 18, 2020. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for July 5.
After a preliminary hearing, Judge Jay A. Conley said he was not prepared to move forward on a case against Rodney L. Baumgarten, 40, Gillett, for felony bail jumping and misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 28. He scheduled a review for April 1. Baumgarten is also charged with possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony and two counts of illegal shining, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 25. Conley scheduled a status conference in that case for May 16.
 

Proceedings of March 24
After a preliminary hearing, Mark F. Derouin, 51, Crivitz, was bound over on charges of possession with intent to distribute amphetamine and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 14. Arraignment was scheduled for April 18.
Faithe Emaleigh Nicole Parins, 21, Green Bay, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 31. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 19.
Derrick Dale Rockman, 26, Gillett, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of substantial battery and misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 23, 2021. Arraignment was scheduled for April 14.
 

Proceedings of March 23
Andrew E. Mahers, 33, Pound, was placed on two years’ probation after a prison sentence was imposed and stayed for possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred April 21, 2021. Judge ruled that among other probation conditions, Mahers must maintain absolute sobriety and complete alcohol and other drug abuse programming as well as all assessments, counseling and treatment deemed necessary by his probation agent.
 

Proceedings of March 22
David A. Konstanski, 32, De Pere, was sentenced to two years in prison, followed by two years of extended supervision, along with nine months in the county jail, for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated and causing injury, and misdemeanor charges of bail jumping and tampering with or failure to install an ignition interlock device, in connection with an incident that occurred Aug. 29. He received credit for 207 days already served. Judge ruled that among other conditions of extended supervision, Konstanski must maintain absolute sobriety and complete all assessments, counseling and treatment deemed necessary by his agent.
Jennifer M. Ott, 44, Oconto Falls, was sentenced to two years in prison, followed by two years of extended supervision, for possession of burglarious tools, in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 13. Judge gave Ott credit for 190 days already served in jail. Among other conditions of extended supervision, Ott may have no contact with the victims of the crime and must maintain absolute sobriety.
David R. Riskus, 33, Oconto, pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that occurred July 19. Judge sentenced Riskus to a year in the county jail, consecutive to any other current sentence.
Ruperto Estudillo Zuniga, 38, Oconto Falls, pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that occurred March 12, 2021. Two felony counts were dismissed in a plea agreement. Conley placed Zuniga on two years’ probation with conditions to include that he undergo anger management treatment and follow through, along with any other assessments deemed appropriate by his corrections agent.
Ashlee N. Webster, 27, Keshena, pleaded no contest to possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 16. Conley scheduled sentencing for May 10 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
Ethan Curtis Wykle, 18, Oconto, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on a charge of possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 1. Arraignment was scheduled for April 4.
Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Dustin W. Freed, 24, Green Bay, after he was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 18. His initial appearance was adjourned until May 19.
 

Proceedings of March 21
Steven M. Schwartz, 51, Abrams, was sentenced to eight years in prison, followed by eight years of extended supervision, for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated causing injury with a passenger younger than 16, and second-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with an incident that occurred Sept. 8. Judge ruled that Schwartz is eligible for the Substance Abuse Program, which can lead to early release upon successful completion, but not until he has served at least six years of his prison term. He was given credit for 177 days already served since his arrest. Conditions of extended supervision include that he maintain absolute sobriety and complete all assessments, counseling and treatment deemed necessary by his corrections agent.
Jeremy J. Hanna, 42, Oconto, pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that happened April 10, 2021. In a plea agreement, two counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety were dismissed, although one count was read into the record for consideration at sentencing, which Conley scheduled for March 29.
Calla Ann Hook, 28, Peshtigo, was sentenced to one year in county jail for possession of methamphetamine and operating a motor vehicle under the influence (first offense) in connection with an incident that occurred March 27, 2020, and felony bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 25, 2020.
Grace R.N. Grell, 40, Green Bay, was placed on three years’ probation after a prison sentence was imposed and stayed for possession of methamphetamine, in connection with an incident that occurred July 29, 2021. Among other probation conditions, Judge ordered Grell to maintain absolute sobriety and complete all assessments, counseling and treatment deemed necessary by her agent including her current treatment.
Michael Edward Garvey, 40, Caroline, was placed on two years’ probation after a prison sentence was imposed and stayed for possession of narcotic drugs, in connection with an incident that occurred March 26, 2021. Among other conditions, Conley ordered Garvey to refrain from alcohol and other drugs and complete any assessments, treatment and counseling deemed appropriate by his probation agent.
Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Melissa M. Wolf, 37, Oconto, after she was charged with felony bail jumping, possession of methamphetamine, possession of THC (second and subsequent offense) and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 19. Her initial appearance was adjourned until May 19.
Bond was set at $2,500 cash for Tony M. Tomcheck, 43, Oconto, after he was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense) and misdemeanor operating while revoked, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 20. His initial appearance was adjourned until April 14.
