Proceedings of March 18

Ryan Paul Winslow, 28, Oconto Falls, was sentenced to three years in prison, followed by three years of extended supervision, for victim intimidation, stalking and misdemeanor charges of fourth-degree sexual assault, harassment, two counts of making computer threats and disorderly conduct in connection with incidents that occurred in December 2019. Judge Jay N. Conley ruled that Winslow may have no contact with the victim or her family, and he must undergo a psychological examination and follow through with treatment, among other conditions of his extended supervision.

Tobias Michael Ruggles, 38, Marinette, pleaded no contest to possession of narcotic drugs and a misdemeanor count of obstructing or resisting an officer, in connection with an incident that occurred Nov. 20. Judge Michael T. Judge scheduled sentencing for May 18 and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.

A Dec. 13-14 jury trial was scheduled for Michael N. Adams, 42, Port Byron, Illinois, on a charge of first-degree child sex assault and another related charge, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred July 25, 2020, and a misdemeanor count of resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 10, 2020. A motion hearing was set for July 20.

Alex J. Herald, 29, Lena, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over on charges of injury by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and first-degree recklessly endangering safety, in connection with a rollover crash on state Highway 22 in the Town of Oconto on Nov. 28. Arraignment was scheduled for April 14.

Aaron C. Nearman, 40, Oconto Falls, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony, possession of THC with intent to deliver, maintaining a drug trafficking place, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 1. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 19.

Terri M. Baugnet, 44, Oconto Falls, waived her right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony, possession of THC with intent to deliver, maintaining a drug trafficking place and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 1. A pre-trial hearing was scheduled for May 19.

Proceedings of March 17

Reuben C. Magiary, 48, Oconto, pleaded not guilty to charges of kidnapping, burglary, false imprisonment, strangulation and suffocation, and misdemeanor charges of battery, two counts of criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 1, 2021. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 19.

A Sept. 7 jury trial was scheduled for Larry Charles Forbush Jr., 53, Menasha, who pleaded not guilty to operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (fourth offense) with a passenger younger than 16, and operating a motor vehicle with a prohibited alcohol content (fourth offense) with a passenger younger than 16, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Aug. 25. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for Aug. 22.

A Sept. 7-8 jury trial was scheduled for Jessica Leah Haumschild, 38, Oconto, on charges of possession with intent to deliver amphetamine, manufacture and delivery of amphetamine, second-degree recklessly endangering safety and maintaining a drug trafficking place, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Oct. 24. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for Aug. 19.

A June 14 jury trial was scheduled for Kasper Hang, 25, Manitowoc, on charges of felony bail jumping, possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor counts of obstructing or resisting an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Nov. 16. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 31.

Andrew William Kizaur, 26, Amasa, Michigan, pleaded not guilty to possession with intent to deliver amphetamine and a misdemeanor count of possession of THC, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 19. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 19.

A May 4-5 jury trial was scheduled for Richard W. Sotka, 47, Marinette, after he pleaded not guilty to charges of stalking and misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 1, 2021, and an alleged Oct. 31 court order violation. A final pre-trial conference was scheduled for April 22.

Maryana D. Barber, 37, Crivitz, pleaded not guilty to charges of possession with intent to distribute amphetamine, manufacture and delivery of THC, felony child neglect, maintaining a drug trafficking place, two counts of misdemeanor child neglect and six misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 14. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 19.

Kristi L. Meverden, 31, Coleman, pleaded not guilty to three counts of second-degree recklessly endangering safety, felony bail jumping, and misdemeanor counts of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (second offense) and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Jan. 20. Judge Michael T. Judge granted a motion to reduce her bail from $25,000 cash to $12,500. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for April 14.

Earl Thompson III, 39, Green Bay, waived his right to a preliminary hearing and pleaded not guilty to possession of cocaine (second or subsequent offense), in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Sept. 29. A pre-trial conference was scheduled for May 19.

A competency examination was ordered for Mark D. Halverson, 38, Mountain, who is charged with fleeing an officer in a vehicle, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Feb. 22. A status conference was scheduled for April 18.

Proceedings of March 16

Bond was set at $5,000 cash for Minogheezhig Sandman-Shelifoe, 37, Baraga, Michigan, after he was charged with possession of narcotic drugs and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred Dec. 3, 2020. His initial appearance was adjourned until April 14.

Bond was set at $2,000 cash for Derrick Dale Rockman, 26, Gillett, after he was charged with substantial battery and misdemeanor bail jumping, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred May 23, 2021. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for March 24.

Proceedings of March 14

Bond was set at $50,000 cash for Paul M. Fletcher, 42, Green Bay, after he was charged with first-degree reckless endangerment, burglary while armed with a dangerous weapon, false imprisonment, and misdemeanor counts of operating a firearm while intoxicated and disorderly conduct, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 12. His initial appearance was adjourned until March 17.

Bond was set at $10,000 cash for Decarlo L. Denny, 34, Oconto, after he was charged with bail jumping, battery or threat to a law officer, possession of methamphetamine, and misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct, and resisting or obstructing an officer, in connection with an incident that allegedly occurred March 10. His initial appearance was adjourned until March 17.
