BASEBALL

Pulaski drops pair of FRCC games

Pulaski lost 3-1 and 5-1 to Manitowoc Lincoln in a Fox River Classic Conference doubleheader on May 6 in Manitowoc.

In the 3-1 loss, Pulaski's Jacob McDonald drove in Kyle Olson for the team's lone run. Logan Brabant took the loss on the mound after pitching all six innings, with just one earned run against him.

Lincoln Simons plated Brabant for the team's only run in game two. Simons took the loss on the hill after pitching five innings. Michael Wyent tossed two frames.

Panthers fall twice to Lux-Casco

Oconto Falls lost by scores of 5-0 and 5-2 in North Eastern Conference games against Luxemburg-Casco on May 6 in Luxemburg.

Cole Bozile had two of Oconto Falls' three hits in the 5-0 loss. He also pitched a scoreless inning. Carter Heroux worked 4⅔ innings, while Easton Engel got four outs.

Grant Bouche and Engel each drove in a run in the second game for the Panthers. Hunter Bozile and Jack Adler scored the runs. Adler took the loss on the mound after pitching all six innings.

Oconto Falls drops 2 to Peshtigo

Oconto Falls was defeated 10-2 and 4-2 during a nonconference doubleheader against Peshtigo on May 6 in Peshtigo.

Amelia Danielczak drove in a run on two hits to lead Oconto Falls in the 10-2 loss. Lily Kurek took the loss in the circle after striking out 11 batters over six innings.

Ashlyn Allen and Sydney Bell each drove in a run in game two for the Panthers. Randi Metzler was dealt the loss, fanning 14 batters across seven innings.
