Damrau will give 100% as district attorney

To the editor:

I am writing in support of Aaron Damrau, independent candidate for the office of Shawano-Menominee County district attorney. I met Aaron approximately five years ago when he walked into the Shawano County Historical Society, where I was then serving as an archive director. Aaron asked what he could do to help; he had some free time while waiting for his bar exam results.

That began several years of his involvement with the historical society, using his experience and skills to sort and organize the overwhelming amount of archives the society had collected, and then to enter voluminous amounts of data into the online catalog of artifacts and archives we used. As a side note, he needed little instruction to understand and use the museum software in place.

Aaron soon became a board member of the society and volunteered in several capacities. He was always willing and able to jump in and help the organization fulfill its goals for the community.

I know Aaron will give 100% to the job of DA for our county, listening to all sides and keeping the goals of the position in mind, putting the larger good above his own goals and opinions. After working closely with Aaron, I can vouch for his exemplary ethics and character.
