Pulaski 5

Cecil 4

Hunter Larson hit a walk-off home run to lift Pulaski past Cecil on May 8 in Pulaski. Larson finished with three hits.

Garrett Kaczrowski, Kendall Kaczrowski and Cody Pangrazzi pitched for Pulaski, with Pangrazzi earning the win after tossing two innings.

Cole Anderson took the loss for Cecil after working an inning. Isaac Boldt started and struck out eight batters across seven innings. Jake Sager, Grant Bouche and Garrett Engel each had two hits for the Mudhens.

Bonduel 4

Navarino 2

Bonduel rallied past Navarino on May 8 in Bonduel. The Broncos scored all four runs in the eighth after the Rangers tallied two runs in the top of the frame.

Adam Frost and Hunter VanderLinden each drove in two runs for Bonduel. Frost had two of the team’s six hits.

Wyatt Reinke earned the win on the mound after striking out five batters across the final two innings. Jack Reinke struck out four batters across seven scoreless frames.

Ryan Boettcher took the loss on the mound for Navarino after pitching the entire game. At the plate, Matt Krause had three hits, while Boettcher doubled twice.

Waupaca 24

Nichols 1

Waupaca rolled to a win over Nichols on May 8 in Nichols. The Lakeman outhit the Nitros 19-1.

Ryan Joseph led the way for Waupaca, driving in five runs on three hits and also scoring three times. Luke Russell had two hits, three RBIs and two runs, while Jason Ellie, Johnny Popham, Ryan Dayton and Brady Johnson drove in two runs each. Ellie, Popham, Walker Smith and Tyler Dayton scored three times each.

Cam Seidl started and struck out eight batters across four innings. Joseph got the win after striking out four across two innings, and Russell got the final three outs.

Waupaca 14

Bonduel 5

Waupaca opened its season with a convincing win over Bonduel on May 1 in Waupaca.

Wes Austin drove in three runs for Waupaca, while Johnny Popham drove in a pair. Ryan Makuski and Jason Ellie each had three hits.

Cam Seidl started and struck out six batters across four innings. Luke Behm got the win after working two frames, and Jim Nighbor sealed up the win by striking out three batters over three innings.
