Bonduel High School holds teddy bear toss

BONDUEL — Bonduel High School collected stuffed animals during events on Thursday and Friday.

The school held a teddy bear toss at halftime of the varsity boys basketball game against Shiocton on Thursday. There was also a pep rally held with the elementary school on Friday.

A total of 398 stuffed animals were collected between the two events.

The stuffed animals will be donated to children being treated at HSHS Vincent Children’s Hospital in Green Bay.

The event was planned by the high school’s IMPACT Club.

“The first annual teddy bear toss was a great success,” said Megan Zeitler, the spokeswoman of the IMPACT Club. “We ended up with 398 stuffed animals which is awesome and will help make children feel at home and help their stay at HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital in Green Bay a little better.

“IMPACT Club would like to thank everyone who donated, brought a new stuffed animal, and all the media for publicizing this charity event. It was a blessing to see all the communities and schools come together and make an impact. Thank you to all for your support and help in making a child smile.”
