Coker University

Hannah Cournoyer, from Oconto Falls, was named to the president’s list for the fall 2025 semester at Coker University in Hartsville, South Carolina.

The president’s list honors students who earn a GPA of 4.0 for at least 12 semester hours of course work taken on the ABC grading system.

Winona State University

Reese Gut, of Pulaski, has been named to the Winona State University dean’s list for the 2025 fall semester. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must be an undergraduate enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours for a grade) and achieve a minimum GPA of 3.5.

UW-Stout

The following students from the area have been named to the University of Wisconsin-Stout dean’s list for the fall 2025 semester.

The award is presented to students who have a GPA of 3.5 or better.

Bonduel: Jaxon Bogacz, bachelor of science, golf enterprise management.

Eland: Emma Behreandt, bachelor of science, psychology.

Gillett: Virgil Herzog, bachelor of science, computer science; Grayson Klein, bachelor of science, engineering technology; Jessica Schaal, bachelor of science, special education.

Lena: Braden McVane, bachelor of science, real estate property management.

Oconto Falls: Ava Hodkiewicz, bachelor of science, construction management.

Shawano: Sam Edwards, bachelor of science, computer and electrical engineering; Tyler Evans, bachelor of science, construction management; Owen Moesch, bachelor of science, computer and electrical engineering; Kate Smits, bachelor of fine arts, industrial and product design; Walker Theis, bachelor of science, applied mathematics and computer science; Isaac Welander, bachelor of science, construction management; Alex Zierden, bachelor of science, construction management.

Wittenberg: Gavin Omernik, bachelor of science, computer science.

South Dakota State

More than 4,100 students were recognized for their outstanding academic performance over the fall 2025 semester at South Dakota State University in Brookings, South Dakota, by being named to the dean’s list.

To earn dean’s list distinctions in SDSU’s colleges, students must have completed a minimum of 12 credits and must have earned at least a 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.

Students on the list include Aidan Frederick, of Wittenberg, a student in SDSU’s Jerome J. Lohr College of Engineering; and Joshua Rjaye Valenzuela, of Wittenberg, a student in SDSU’s College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences.

Iowa State University

More than 11,800 Iowa State University (Ames, Iowa) students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the 2025 fall semester dean’s list. Students named to the dean’s list must earn a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Abrams: Griffin Kopke, architecture undergraduate pre-major.

Bonduel: Phoenix F. Seubert, animal science, bachelor of science,

University of Maryland Global Campus

More than 18,700 University of Maryland Global Campus (Adelphi, Maryland) students were named to the dean’s list for the fall 2025 term. To be eligible for the honor, a student must complete at least six credits during the term, earn a GPA of at least 3.5 for the term and maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 at UMGC.

Students honored include Justin Fisher, of Keshena; and Douglas Marquette, of Shawano.

Western Technical College

Nathaniel Johns, from Oconto Falls, was named to the Western Technical College (La Crosse) president’s list of high distinction for the fall 2025 term.

To be included on the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or higher and carry six or more credits in an associate’s degree or technical diploma program.

UW-Eau Claire

The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire recognized the academic achievements of the Blugolds who have earned a place on the dean’s list.

To be eligible, a student must be in good academic standing, have a minimum semester GPA of 3.70 and have completed at least 12 credits during the semester, with no incompletes, no courses below the 100 level, no repeats and no satisfactory/unsatisfactory registrations.

Milwaukee School of Engineering

Jordan Moede, from Bonduel, was named to the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s honors list for the 2025 fall semester, and Vincent Vassallo, from Gillett, was named to the dean’s list. Moede is pursuing a bachelor of science in architectural engineering, and Vassallo is pursuing a bachelor of science in computer engineering..

Students taking undergraduate courses who have earned at least 12 credits in residence at MSOE, are in good academic standing and have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or better are on the dean’s list. Students on that list who have maintained a 3.70 or higher receive high honors. Students with a term GPA of 3.20 or higher who are not on the dean’s list are on the honors list.
