Bonduel 10, Shiocton 0
Bonduel defeated Shiocton 10-0 in six innings to advance in WIAA regional action.
Bonduel scored two runs in the first inning and one more in the third to take a 3-0 lead. A four-run fifth inning and three runs in sixth inning broke the game open.
Tatum Sporisky was 4-for-4, scored four runs and drove in another. Jayla Reinke was 2-for-3 with 4 RBIs. Julianna Jacobs, Taylor Rank and Emery Thompson all had two hits as well.
Thompson was the winning pitcher and scattered seven hits and was supported by some nice defensive plays to shut out the Chiefs.
Wittenberg-Birnamwood 5, Amherst 3
The Chargers advanced in regional action with a 5-3 win over Amherst.
Bay Port 2, Pulaski 0
Pulaski was shut out 2-0 by Bay Port in its first playoff game of the 2025 season.
The Red Raiders end the season 15-11.
Lakeland 1, Shawano 0
In a WIAA regional game that showcased grit, heart, and endurance, the Shawano Hawks fell to the Lakeland Thunderbirds in a 1-0 loss.
Tied at 0-0 in the bottom of the 13th inning, Lakeland sealed the win with a single from Karlin Williams, scoring the only run of the night.
Kadence Meyers was unstoppable in the circle, pitching 12 1/3 innings, allowing just four hits and no earned runs while striking out 15.
Lakeland’s Saylor Timmerman was equally dominant, recording 29 strikeouts across 13 innings.
Meyers also led the offense, going 3-for-5 at the plate. Despite outhitting Lakeland 6-4, the Hawks couldn’t push one across.
Shawano’s season ended with a 12-12 overall record. The Hawks placed third in the Bay Conference with a 7-5 record.
Niagara 7, Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy 3
Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas Academy ended its 2025 softball season after losing 7-3 to Niagara in regional action.
At 6-11 overall and 3-7 in the Marinette & Oconto Conference, Lena/STAA tied for fourth place with Gillett/Suring.
Tri-County 9, Tigerton 2
Tigerton was upset 9-2 by Tri-County in regional softball action.
The Tigers had a seven-game winning streak going back to the end of April. They were also unbeaten at 6-0 to win the CWC North Conference.
Tigerton ended the season at 10-3 overall.
Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy 10, Marion 0
Green Bay NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy scored three times in the first inning and added five more in the fourth to walk away with a 10-0 shutout over Marion in regional action.
The Mustangs, 4-10 overall, ended the season at 3-3, tying Northland Lutheran for second place in the CWC North.
Peshtigo 11, Gillett/Suring 0
Gillett/Suring was shut out 11-0 as its season drew to a close.
The team was 5-15 overall.
